September 17,2023, Vista, CA—Soroptimist International of Vista and North County Inland will host the North County Anti-Human Trafficking Collaborative meeting on Thursday, October 12th, 9 a.m., at United Methodist Church of Vista, 490 S. Melrose Ave., Vista, upper level Community Room. The event is free to the public, and complimentary coffee and pastries will be provided. Guest speaker will be Megan House, Policy Advisor for County Supervisor Jim Desmond. Ms. House covers the area of Health and Human Services and Public Safety for Supervisor Desmond. She has also had experience volunteering for a global anti-human trafficking non-profit.

ABOUT THE COLLABORATIVE:
The North County San Diego Anti-Human Trafficking Collaborative is a diverse group of individuals and community organizations committed to eliminating human trafficking. Our mission is to raise awareness, provide a platform to share information, improve victim services, educate ourselves and the public, and advocate for policy and legislation related to human trafficking. The Collaborative meets several times a year at the United Methodist at 490 S. Melrose Drive, Vista, California from 9 am to 10:30 am. The event is free to the public, and coffee and pastries are served.
