Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum Presents: Annual Holiday Lights Event

This holiday season, the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum invites families and friends to gather for its much-loved Annual Holiday Lights event, a celebration brimming with the festive spirit and cozy warmth of our small community.

Running on select evenings in December, this magical event transforms our historic grounds into a winter wonderland, highlighted by a dazzling light display that visitors can experience up close with a special wagon ride around the museum.

Guests are welcome to meet and take photos with Santa Claus, indulge in holiday-inspired treats and spirit drinks from The 55 Acres Project, and savor the warmth of our food and drink offerings . Families can enjoy festive movies by the s’mores station, hop on a ride around the grounds on our miniature train, and engage in hands-on holiday fun with ornament decorating and kids’ crafts.

In addition to the lights, our museum houses will be bustling with activity. Don’t miss demonstrations by the talented weavers, spinners, and blacksmiths, and a stunning model train display by our Model Train Club. You’ll even have a chance to see our impressive collection of steam engines and tractors up close—get a sneak peek before they join the Escondido and Vista Christmas parades!

The holiday magic extends to our cozy farmhouse, where fresh cookies will be made, and a local vendor market awaits with unique, handcrafted treasures. To add a bit of cheer to your home, you can enter our Christmas tree ra[le and maybe take home your very own decorated tree.

The Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum’s Annual Holiday Lights event is an ideal opportunity to celebrate the season in a uniquely historic setting, and we welcome everyone to share in the festivities, build lasting memories, and support our local community.
