Are you ready for the next natural disaster or emergency evacuation? The Foundation for Senior Wellbeing in partnership with the Carlsbad Senior Center invites Carlsbad seniors to participate in a free Senior Emergency Preparedness and Emergency Starter Kit Giveaway Event on Tuesday, April 16 from 10 am—11:30 am. The event will be held in the auditorium at the Senior Center located at 799 Pine Ave, Carlsbad, CA 92008.
Featured speakers include David Harrison, emergency preparedness coordinator, City of Carlsbad Fire Department and Mike McMahon, emergency preparedness volunteer with the City of Carlsbad. Participants will learn about types of emergencies, how to make their own plan and what the community is doing to prepare.
