Ascend Coffee Roasters, previously Old Cal Coffee, a beloved fixture in the San Marcos community, announces the upcoming closure of its Restaurant Row location and invites our community to embrace the exciting journey to our new location in the La Costa neighborhood of Carlsbad, CA.
After 30 years of serving our loyal customers at 1080 W San Marcos Boulevard we are faced with closing our doors due to the imminent redevelopment of Restaurant Row. Although we knew this day would come eventually, it is still a very bittersweet time and while we are sad to say goodbye to this location we have called home for so long, we are thrilled to announce that Ascend Coffee Roasters recently opened another location ten minutes down the road at 3231 Camino De Los Coches #107, Carlsbad, CA 92009. We are excited to have the continued opportunity to cater to your coffee and food cravings and to also provide the community with a space to gather and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
While we bid farewell to our old location on 02/29/2024, we extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible community who have made both Old Cal Coffee and more recently Ascend Coffee Roasters a cherished part of San Marcos. We’re excited to continue brewing your favorite blends, hosting events, providing coffee subscriptions, and creating memories at our new home.
