Over 200 pieces of art work were on display in Oceanside on April 5th as a preview to their display and sale at the Oceanside Museum of Art. High school students, art teachers, family members and friends gathered to view the original works of arts prior to their exhibition at the Museum. The students donated their creations to the Assistance League of North Coast as part of a fundraiser called Tropical Bliss that will be held on April 15th.
Funds raised from this event and the sale of the paintings will be used to assist needy children in Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista. During 2021-2022 the Assistance League of North Coast donated over $139,292 to provide new clothes, shoes, blankets, health kits and books to local children. An additional $60,889 was given in scholarships to graduating seniors.
