North County Daily Star stopped by the former Flying Pig on South Santa Fe Avenue. There are a lot of changes being made on the exterior and parking lot area and a complete remodel of the inside. This is in preparation by the new owners of the building for the future of Vista’s ‘Best Pizza and Brew‘, which currently has four locations in North County.
We spoke with Joey Freis, who is part of the ownership group, and they are excited about the opportunity to serve the families of Vista. Joey said, “The cooperation with the City of Vista has been great and if all goes well, we will be opening some time in April just in time for the upcoming Padre baseball season. We will be serving pizza and beer and a full menu.
