The second Black Rock Coffee Bar is now open in Vista, the new location at 902 S Santa Fe Ave., taking over the old Regents Bank location. Hundreds of people showed up on Friday to get a free coffee of their choice for the opening day. People lined up in their cars and walked inside the spacious location to try a Black Rock Favorite, a Chiller, Espresso or a Coffee less selection from the menu.
Newly trained employees, recently having completed several weeks of training in the business of making all of the menu selections, directed guests pulling up in their cars, assisted inside at the coffee bar kitchen or spoke with customers in the large seating area. This version of Black Rock has both a drive-thru section and a large inside walk-up area.
There is also a selection of Breakfast Anytime items that will be offered. Some of these include the Bacon & Gouda Sandwich, Blueberry Muffins, Coffee Cake, Bagels, Ham & Swiss Croissant, Egg White with Ham and Gruyere Egg Bites and more.
