BOGO for Oceanside Residents at Sockers Game on March 19

Oceanside, Calif.- February 23, 2023— Building anticipation for the San Diego Sockers 2024 debut at their new home at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, Visit Oceanside and the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce are partnering with the Sockers for a special “Oceanside Night” on Sunday, March 19.

Oceanside residents are encouraged to bring friends and family to support the 16-time arena soccer champions, and can purchase two-for-one tickets online through March 18 at 8 p.m. Ticket prices start at $25 plus service fees.

“Oceanside is ready to welcome the Sockers and counting the days until our new arena is ready,” said Tyler Garcia, vice president of business and brand development for Visit Oceanside. “The Sockers winning legacy is a perfect fit for Oceanside, which is already home to many top youth tournaments as well as the professional Beach Soccer Championships.”

The “Oceanside Night” Sockers game starts at 5:05 p.m. and will be played at Pechanga Arena San Diego at 3500 Sports Arena Blvd, San Diego. For more information visit www.visitoceanside.org/events.

Currently under construction, Oceanside’s state-of-the-art Frontwave Arena will be the host arena of the Sockers beginning in 2024. The stadium is located in Oceanside’s El Corazón sports complex area near Oceanside Blvd and Rancho del Oro Drive and will include a 170,000-square-foot arena, which can host more than 6,000 fans for sporting events and up to 7,600 for concerts. The arena also will include a full-service restaurant, bars and concessions, a plaza area, and sixteen luxury suites. In addition to the Sockers, the venue is expected to host concerts, amateur sports and community events.
