I hope you had a wonderful Summer with an opportunity to enjoy all that makes our State so incredible – the beautiful coastline, the diverse geography, the wide variety of small businesses and food, and the fabulous people. I enjoyed the chance to spend a few weeks in the District meeting constituents, discussing what matters, and brainstorming solutions to problems being faced.
One thing is clear: You all want to stay here and to be sure your family can remain nearby. I am committed to doing all that I can to find innovative ways to cut the cost of living, keep residents safe, and preserve our beautiful coastline. My priorities remain the same.
Now as kids return to school and I head back to Sacramento, I look forward to continuing my efforts with the Problem Solvers Caucus – joining with State officials to identify bipartisan and common sense solutions. When we put politics aside and focus on public service, we can get so much done for Californians – even in Sacramento.
Please take a moment to read through my legislative update below; we have one month left of the Legislative Session and a great deal of bills to vote on. I’ve also included an overview of activities throughout the District; thank you for including my office in your celebrations and events.
I hope you’ll share this newsletter with friends and contacts throughout South Orange County and North San Diego County; help us spread the word!
