Buddy Guy and Brandy Zdan “ROCK OUT” at The California Center For The Arts

TWO ROCK AND ROLL STARS, BUDDY GUY AND BRANDY ZDAN “ROCK OUT” AT THE CALIFORNIA CENTER FOR THE ARTS, ESCONDIDO!

Escondido, Ca. – March 2, 2018 – Buddy Guy makes his way to the California Center for the Arts, Escondido on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 7:30pm!

Buddy Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, a major influence on rock titans like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, a pioneer of Chicago’s fabled West Side sound, and a living link to the city’s halcyon days of electric blues.

Buddy Guy has received 7 Grammy Awards, a 2015 Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award, 34 Blues Music Awards (the most any artist has ever received), and the Billboard Magazine Century Award for distinguished artistic achievement, a Kennedy Center Honor, and the Presidential National Medal of Arts. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him #23 in its “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” Eric Clapton once described him as “the best guitar player alive.”

BRANDY ZDAN
Opening this explosive show are the wonderful melodies of Brandy Zdan. Zdan, a native Canadian who resides in Nashville, and has garnered critical acclaim as one half of the gothic folk/roots group Twilight Hotel. Her solo work has seen her as a “one-woman tour de force” (LoneStarMusic) and she has been nominated for several Juno Awards (Canadian Grammys). Spin Magazine described her extremely popular single “More of a Man” as “fetching pop/rock melodies over production that’s almost new wave-reminiscent in its sparkling cleanliness.”
