The Butterfly Garden at the County’s Lindo Lake Park in Lakeside was built from the ground up two years ago and now it is thriving with life. Plan a visit on your own, from sunrise to sunset, or attend a tour led by a County park ranger. Enjoy a stroll through the garden while learning about local butterflies, birds and plants – and how staff work every day to balance recreation opportunity with efforts to protect and restore San Diego’s unique native habitats.
