California Center For the Arts Brings Back Jesse Cook Classical Guitarist

THE CALIFORNIA CENTER FOR THE ARTS IS EXCITED TO BRING BACK JESSE COOK, A CLASSICAL GUITARIST WITH A FLAMENCO FLAIR!

Escondido, Ca. – February 13, 2018 — The California Center for the Arts, Escondido is excited to bring back award-winning guitarist, composer, and producer Jesse Cook on Saturday, February 24th at 7:30pm!

Jesse Cook may have a simple name, but his music is anything but. A true world traveler, Cook grew up between France, Barcelona, and eventually Canada. His music is a reflection of those many places and many adventures. His guitar style is one of his own invention, which merges the worlds of flamenco, classical, and jazz.

His debut album Tempest was a smash, landing in the top 15 of the Billboard charts, and garnering him a 10-minute standing ovation at the Catalina Jazz Festival. Since then he’s gone on to release eleven studio albums, six of which have gone Gold or Platinum. Cook has toured with some of the most legendary musicians of all time including BB King, Ray Charles, The Chieftains, and Diana Krall.

Cook’s newest album Beyond Borders is just that, featuring the sounds that have made Jesse Cook the acoustic virtuoso he is. Blending the electric sounds of flamenco and rumba, with the smooth elegance of acoustic jazz is second nature to Cook.

Jesse Cook has sold out every time he has performed at the Center and is close to selling out again! Don’t miss this truly original master bring his rhythms and infectious tone to the California Center for the Arts, Escondido on Feb. 24th!
