Campus Creatives: From the Classroom to the Museum Opens April 7th

Escondido, CA. — The Center Museum is pleased to announce the opening of Campus Creatives: From the Classroom to the Museum on April 7, 2018.

This exhibition features forty-seven of our local visual art department faculty members teaching at the college level in fourteen San Diego County institutions. These artists will be presenting newer works in a wide variety of media and subject, in the Center Museum, from April 7th until May 13th, 2018. This juried exhibition will underscore the talents of these respected artists and highlight our County’s strength in art education, giving the public a chance to see how they practice what they teach and influence the art world beyond their classrooms.

Participating Institutions: California State University San Marcos, Cuyamaca College, Grossmont College, MiraCosta College, National University, Palomar College, Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego City College, San Diego Mesa College, San Diego Miramar College, San Diego State University, Southwestern College, University of California, San Diego, and University of San Diego.

Admission to the Museum is $8.00 for Adults, Seniors and Students $5.00, Center members, Military and children under 12 are free.
