Carlsbad Chamber September First Friday Breakfast

Guest Speaker Richard L. Davis is co-founder, president and CEO of the Arbor Scientia Group, a global medical communications company headquartered in Carlsbad, California. He is also an author, speaker, consultant and executive coach.

Prior to his current role as founding president of Arbor Scientia, Mr. Davis specialized in management, leadership, culture change, communications, team building, and product launches for numerous industries as an independent consultant. His client list includes Acura, AstraZeneca, BMW, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Chevron Oil, Celgene, Ford Motor, Eli Lilly, GM, Honda, Johnson & Johnson, Lexus, Merck, Novartis, Office Depot, Pfizer, Takeda, Teva and Toyota among others.

Mr. Davis has developed a number of innovative education programs at Arbor Scientia, including “train-the-trainer” meetings organized as “speaker’s boot camps” with intensive instruction by a team of speaker coaches, and highly sought-after programs on principles of adult education, the role of personality profiles in audience psychology and speaker effectiveness, and teaching how to teach. He is a member of the Association for Talent Development formerly the American Society for Training and Development.

The cost is $34 for Chamber members who register before Friday, August 1. Afterward, the cost is $55 for preregistration and $60 at the door.

Tabletop exhibits or soapbox presentations are available to promote your business for $90 each, which includes one breakfast and must be reserved in advance by calling the chamber at (760) 931-8400. Cancellation and Refund Policy
