In Carlsbad, kids take charge of their vacations…and the government! Carlsbad has launched the search for the first “Kid-Cabinet” in Visit California’s Kidifornia, with the aim of making Carlsbad its capitol. Join us as we designate the new Mini-Mayor at the Carlsbad, Kidifornia Beach Party on Saturday, October 21 at the Carlsbad State Beach (between Oak and Pine Avenue, in front of Harbor Fish Cafe).
From 9 am to 12 pm, there will be fun and sun on the beach, as well as a “Sand Capitol” building contest, games and great prizes for kids and their parents. The event is free and open to the public. #Kidifornia #MiniMayorCarlsbad.
