Celebrate Cinco De Mayo North County and its Queen May 8th at Grape Day Park

Post pandemic Street Fair promises a fun filled day for the entire Family, returning for a 3rd year after the pause.

Escondido, California.- After a brief pause due to the pandemic, USA Multicultural Non Profit brings back the Cinco de Mayo Festival to Grape Day Park to celebrate together the reunification of the community and its Cinco de Mayo Queen.

This event, that seeks to unify and bring awareness by spreading goodness through peaceful expressions of cultural diversity, dance, singing, and other amazing talent, is scheduled for Sunday, May 8th at Grape Day Park in the heart of Escondido. This festival at the park will include 7 food booths, and 25 commercial booths with local vendors.

“My priority is to bring community together in a safe and comfortable atmosphere with community participation in our events for camaraderie”, said organizer Angel Aguilar, who has brought this event previously to Escondido. “My wife, Sohaila, and I are making this happen with our third annual CINCO DE MAYO FESTIVAL in Escondido California at the beautiful historic Grape Day Park. We are also very proud to be promoting our very first Miss Cinco De Mayo Pageant, where we’ll crowning our honorary Ms. Cinco De Mayo Queen, Deana Smith as well as our honorary Miss Chiquita and Miss Chiquitita.” he added.

The Aguilars are long time residents of Escondido who love to bring people a sense of togetherness, inspiration, enthusiasm, and enhancement opportunities through several festivals they put together since 2010, strengthening the community as a whole. “We do this with a rare focus on multicultural expression and appreciation no one else advocates and provides in our community,” Aguilar added.

The Cinco De Mayo Festival will be a fun, family event that will have vending booths, food booths, demonstrations, games and all day of entertainment featuring local music bands and dancing groups. Please join us for this event, Cinco De Mayo Festival, that will take place on May 8th, 2022, Sunday, from 11 to 5 pm. Grape Day Park, 321 N Broadway, Escondido, California.

About the Miss Cinco De Mayo Pageant
The Miss Cinco de Mayo North County pageant is organized for the purpose of offering opportunities for young women to develop skills that will help them win in life by being their personal best in everything they do, thus become future leaders and a role model for other young women alike. This pageant encourages young women to build self-confidence, individual pride, and a greater self-awareness. It will be a rewarding and worthwhile experience.

The Miss Cinco De Mayo North County pageant is open for 15-20 year old young girls that are enthusiastic and excited to be a leader in our community.

The crowning of our honorary Ms. Cinco De Mayo Queen will be held at Grape Day Park at the Festival on, Sunday May 8th at 12 noon.
