On Saturday, November 18, over 600 volunteers with The Church of Rancho Bernardo gathered at Kit Carson Park and around City Hall for their annual “Serve Day.” The Church of Rancho Bernardo is a faith-based organization committed to being good neighbors in North County and wanted to volunteer for park improvements in Escondido. They completed a variety of projects including: mulching, painting, weeding, planting, and trash pickup. A majority of their work focused on the amphitheater in Kit Carson Park. They painted all of the seats, rails and fencing. We are incredibly thankful for their efforts!
