The City of Carlsbad’s Police Department will offer a free bike rodeo for children ages 5 to 8 years on Saturday, July 27. The event will take place at the Safety Training Center at 5750 Orion St from 10 a.m. to noon.

A bike rodeo is a fun, interactive way for children to improve their bicycle handling and traffic safety skills
A non-competitive obstacle course will be set up for the children to navigate and build skills
All participants will receive a free helmet from the Carlsbad Fire Department
Bike inspection and helmet fittings are included
Children need to bring their own bicycle and wear a helmet to participate
