The 18th Annual Civil War Re-Enactment will take place over two days, November 3rd and 4th, at the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum in Vista. Civil War re-enactment groups from all over California will come together to recreate authentic battle scenes, bringing the sights and sounds of war to life. Besides the battle re-enactments, attendees can expect to see real live cannon fire, period costumes, historical figures, infantry and cavalry demonstrations, artillery demonstrations and more during the two-day festival. Battles will be held twice daily at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Civil War living history tours and self-guided walking tours will be held throughout the weekend, and a selection of food and refreshments will be available.
