County Mental Health Hub Proposed for Green Oak Ranch

Green Oak Ranch in Vista, Calif. is seeking negotiations with the County of San Diego to sell the Greek Oak Ranch property to the County with a proposal in mind to create a County Mental Health Hub housing anywhere from 700-1000 beds for homeless and mentally fragile individuals. Green Oak Ranch backs up to multiple neighborhoods filled with young families who fear a hub of this sort could put their families’ safety and property values at risk; as well as overwhelm existing services and first responders for the City of Vista. This would additionally negatively impact the surrounding schools, businesses, churches, medical facilities, and more. Tens of thousands of residents as well as people who work in Vista and commute in will feel the negative impacts of this plan should it reach fruition. We are seeking concerned residents to:
