SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos Athletics released its 2020 schedules for baseball, men’s track & field and women’s track & field on Friday.
Baseball – Full Schedule
The Cougars’ 50-game schedule will get underway at home against Dixie State on Jan. 31. CSUSM will host 28 home games in 2020 while playing 22 on the road. The California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament will take place May 6-9 at Cal Poly Pomona. The Cougars put together the 16th-best recruiting class in NCAA Division II according to Perfect Game.
Men’s Track & Field – Full Schedule
The men’s track & field season will get underway at home with the Mangrum Preview on Feb. 8. CSUSM is scheduled to compete in 15 meets in 2020. The CCAA Championships will take place at Stanislaus State on April 30-May 2. Should the Cougars qualify for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, they’ll head to Kingsville, Texas, on May 21-23.
Women’s Track & Field – Full Schedule
The women’s track & field season will begin a bit earlier this year as it takes on an additional indoor schedule beginning on Jan. 18 at the University of Washington’s Indoor Preview. The Cougars will run in three indoor meets before the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships on March 13-14 in Birmingham, Alabama. The outdoor season for the Cougars will begin at home with the Mangrum Preview on Feb. 8. The CCAA Championships will take place in Turlock at Stanislaus State on April 30-May 2. If the Cougars qualify for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships, they’ll compete in Kingsville, Texas, on May 21-23.
