A traditional American diner, complete with a long barstool-lined counter, Al’s Cafe in the Village has been serving up classic breakfast and lunch favorites for almost 30 years. With dishes like coconut french toast, omelette’s, breakfast fried rice, a triple-decker Carlsbad Club sandwich, and even two-for-one hamburgers every Tuesday, Al’s has long been a reliable local and tourist hangout. Al’s Cafe is not only family-owned and operated but he and his wife are also Village residents. Adapting to doing business during COVID-19 hasn’t been easy but they’ve done it from the start of the health crisis. They offer curbside pickup, takeout, and delivery through a variety of services. They even have Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s to go!
