The Carlsbad Village Association is excited to announce that Tish Gehringer, a 15-year resident of Carlsbad, has joined its team as Program Manager.

“Tish has strong ties to the Carlsbad Village community and a heart for small business,” said Christine Davis, Executive Director. “She has great ideas on how we can support the downtown businesses and continue to make Carlsbad Village everyone’s favorite destination.”

Before joining CVA, Tish worked in marketing and operations for 14 years at Costco. She was also a small business owner in the fitness industry for nearly 15 years.

“Tish’s background in event management, membership relations, and as a small business owner make her a natural for this position,” said Christine. “Her passion for the environment will certainly benefit downtown operations and we look forward to incorporating her knowledge in this area to CVA events and practices.”

When asked what a perfect day in Carlsbad Village might look like, Tish answered, “It would involve a bike ride, a walk on the boardwalk with the dogs, and perfect 75 degree weather. And it wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Pure Project where they not only serve really good beer but are also truly committed to the environment with their 1% For The Planet program.”

Tish and her life partner of 15 years, a Carlsbad firefighter/paramedic, live in Carlsbad with their two pups, Luci and Abbi.

We look forward to you meeting Tish at the State Street Farmers’ Market or other events downtown soon, but don’t be surprised if you see her cleaning up the beach in the meantime!
