December 8, 2018 – 10 am to noon – Kids in the Garden class

Stone Soup and Breadsticks

Alta Vista Botanical Gardens is now in the tenth year of getting kids outdoors to discover their environment, enjoy nature, dig into gardening, learn about natural resources, and to share art and music.

This month the Kids in the Garden class will feature the story Stone Soup – we will read the story then make the soup, cutting up veggies and cooking up a tasty hot treat.

If you like, bring your favorite vegetable to add! We will then mix and roll out breadsticks. Should be another fun day in the Gardens and nature! The Kids in the Garden class emphasizes hands-on discovery and fun for all!

Class fee is $5 per child, and $5 per adult Garden entry – payable to Farmer Jones at the class. Pre-registration required at farmerjonesavbg@gmail.com or (760) 822-6824

Alta Vista Botanical Gardens is at 1270 Vale Terrace Drive
