Don’t Miss The June Artisan Makers Market in the Village

Join us Saturday, June 5th for our fourth and final Makers Market before taking a summer break. Don’t miss out on this amazing showcase of handcrafted artisans. Clothing, jewelry, handbags, pottery, home décor, macrame, glasswork, photography, artwork, woodworking, and so much more. Consider hand made artisan sweets like caramels, jam, cookies, or even popcorn.

The campus of St. Michael’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church is the perfect venue for a spacious, outdoor artisan market like this. With live music playing in the background, stroll the beautiful church grounds, meet the local artists, and stock up on gifts. Four local musicians will play throughout the day.

Juried Art and Handcrafted Market Place

From 9 am to 4 pm, the St. Michael’s by-the Sea Episcopal Church will turn into an open-air makers market. St. Michael’s was built in 1884 and its historic buildings and campus are a beautiful backdrop to this outdoor artisan market. All applicants are juried and only self-designed and handcrafted items will exhibit in this venue. The Makers Market is a free community event.

Safety Is Our Top Priority

Staff and management have worked very closely with the County of San Diego and the City of Carlsbad to bring the Makers Market to you safely that complies with health guidelines as we remain in the Red Tier. Masks are required at this event and hand sanitizing stations will be available as well as fresh water hand washing stations.

Make a day of it in Carlsbad Village

Public parking is plentiful in the Village, and the beach is only two blocks away. Many casual and fine dining establishments are within steps from the venue and shopping at a wide variety of boutiques, salons, and galleries.
