Connect with nature and go GREEN at this FREE fun event! This year we will open up at 9 am with an Earth Day Family Fun Walk including a scavenger hunt and Garden explorations – posting your finds and your steps online. At 10 am the Festival opens with lots of activities for the kiddos, live music, our GrowGetters plant sale, food for sale, and vendors.
Children will make collages, handle worms and compost, make macaroni necklaces and leather bracelets, paint “Earth Day Rocks!” and visit the fun-filled Children’s Garden.
Enjoy music by Vic Moraga on guitar and the Barths with “Music to Celebrate the Earth.”
Experience our nine Ricardo Breceda sculptures, starting with the slithering Sea Serpent in the Children’s Garden.
Our GrowGetters Plant Sale includes succulents, flowers, veggies, and gardening advice.
Check out our Garden Shop filled with crafts, snacks, plants, and treats for all.
Take a break and buy a tasty BBQ lunch and beverages from Amigos de Vista Lions.
Vendors will line the driveway and offer environmentally friendly information as well as tasty treats, jewelry, children’s books, cards, and home décor.
