Oceanside, CA – Eight Oceanside breweries will be participating in San Diego Beer Week’s marquee event, Guild Fest, on Saturday, November 5 at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar. The celebration of San Diego independent craft beer industry, which is presented by the San Diego Brewers Guild, is the first in-person Guild Fest since 2019.

The Oceanside breweries are Bagby Beer Company, Belching Beaver Brewery, Booze Brothers Brewing Co., Craft Coast Brewery & Taco Stand, Kilowatt Brewing, Northern Pine Brewing, Oceanside Brewing Company, and South O Brewing Company. The eight breweries are the second most of any city or community within San Diego County at the event behind only Vista, which has 11. All will be providing guests with unlimited samples.

“Oceanside has been a budding superstar of a brewery locale for a few years and its certainly exciting to see such tremendous growth,” said Brewers Guild Executive Director Paige McWey Acers. “We hope the great people of Oceanside, whether dedicated beer drinkers or casual ones, make their way down the 5 freeway to enjoy Beer Week’s biggest party.”

Guild Fest tickets are on sale at www.sdbeer.com/guildfest. General admission tickets (1:00 – 4:00 p.m.) are $55.00 and include unlimited samples from more than 60 breweries in total. Early admission tickets (12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m.) are $70.00 and include the unlimited samples as well as an added hour of specialty beers for the first hour. Guild Fest will include food trucks, as well as live music from Totally 80’s Band and Paging The 90s. The event is 21+ only and parking is available onsite for $12.00. Designated driver tickets will be sold at the door for $20.00 as well.

Guild Fest had been held downtown since its inception in 2005, beginning at the WorldBeat Center in Balboa Park. This is the first in North County in 14 years of the event.

Bagby Beer Company earlier in October won a Silver Medal at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver for its Three Beagles in the “English-style Brown Ale” category. Kilowatt Brewing also won a Silver Medal for its Maple Smoked Maibock in the “Specialty Beer” category.

At the World Beer Cup in Minneapolis in May, Kilowatt also won a Silver Medal for its OB Bubble Dubbel in the “Belgian-style Abbey Ale” category. Craft Coast Brewery & Taco Stand, meanwhile, won two Bronze Medals at the WBC for its Oscura in the “International Pilsener or International Lager” category and its Shootz Mahalo in the “Juicy or Hazy Strong Pale Ale” category.
