Vista, CA – Eleven Vista breweries will be participating in San Diego Beer Week’s marquee event, Guild Fest, on Saturday, November 5 at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar. The celebration of the San Diego independent craft beer industry, which is presented by the San Diego Brewers Guild, is the first in-person Guild Fest since 2019.

The Vista breweries are BattleMage Brewing Company, Bear Roots Brewing Co., Belching Beaver Brewery, Booze Brothers Brewing Co., Dogleg Brewing Company, Eppig Brewing, Five Suits Brewing, Helia Brewing Co., Mother Earth Brewing Company, Pure Project, and WestBrew. The 11 breweries are the most of any city or community within San Diego County at the event. All will be providing guests with unlimited samples.

“Vista has been a hub of the craft beer scene in the County for quite some time now,” said Brewers Guild Executive Director Paige McWey Acers. “There are so many wonderful beers here, not to mention wonderful brewers who make the beer. I look forward to seeing all San Diegans and visitors enjoying what Vista has to offer at Beer Week’s biggest party.”

Guild Fest tickets are on sale at www.sdbeer.com/guildfest. General admission tickets (1:00 – 4:00 p.m.) are $55.00 and include unlimited samples from more than 60 breweries in total. Early admission tickets (12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m.) are $70.00 and include the unlimited samples as well as an added hour of specialty beers for the first hour. Guild Fest will include food trucks, as well as live music from Totally 80’s Band and Paging The 90s. The event is 21+ only and parking is available onsite for $12.00. Designated driver tickets will be sold at the door for $20.00 as well.

Guild Fest had been held downtown since its inception in 2005, beginning at the WorldBeat Center in Balboa Park. This is the first in North County in 14 years of the event.

Mother Earth Brewing Company earlier in October won a Silver Medal at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver for Hop Diggity in the “Imperial India Pale Ale” category. Pure Project in May won a Silver Medal at the World Beer Cup in Minneapolis for its Houblon Deluxe in the “Hazy or Juicy Imperial IPA” category.

San Diego County is known as The Capital of Craft™, a moniker that was trademarked in 2015. San Diego has the most craft brewery locations among all counties in the United States with more than 150. The Brewers Guild, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2022, was founded in 1997 with 15 breweries.
