Escondido Fire held night drills throughout the week at the new Palomar Hospital parking structure. The drills focused on elements related to the six-story parking structure, as well as a simulated electric vehicle “on fire”. Multiple sessions were held, and included discussions on the dangers associated with electric vehicles.
This training is very important due to the growing popularity of electric vehicles. Interested community members were also in attendance, and appreciative of the opportunity to participate.
