Thieves Apprehended After Vehicle Chase
Last week, three men went into a local store and began taking merchandise and hiding it in their pockets and bags. The men left the store with about $5,000 worth of goods. They then got into a vehicle and tried to leave the area. One of our officers was able to locate the vehicle however a chase on to the freeway and then back into the city ensued. At one point, one of the passengers jumped out of the moving vehicle and was injured. The vehicle finally struck another vehicle and the remaining men got out and fled. All three men were arrested. The teamwork of the officers, detectives, and a San Diego PD helicopter helped resolve this crime.
