Escondido Police Update

Cadet Academy
The young men and women of our Cadet Post participated in the 2023 San Diego County Law Enforcement Explorer Academy at the University of California, San Diego last week. Approximately 150 cadets from around the state come together to participate in seven days of rigorous training. The Explorer Academy experience is designed to demonstrate the physical and academic demands of a law enforcement career. Much of the training is intense, and the young men and women from the Escondido Cadet Post represented our department and City with honor and distinction. The cadets have said that this experience is one of the most fulfilling and memorable weeks of their young lives.

Thank you to the Escondido Cadet Advisors and officers who volunteered their time, and congratulations to all our Cadets that participated in and completed the academy!
