On December 6, 93 lucky Central Elementary School – EUSD students received new bicycles thanks to the generosity of the Bikes for Kids Foundation and Escondido Sunrise Rotary Club! The third grade students participated in an essay writing contest, and they thought that just a few of them would win and receive bikes. However, much to their surprise, all 93 of them were given bikes during the recognition ceremony — and as you’ll see in this photo gallery, their enthusiastic reactions were priceless. Thank you, Bikes for Kids and Sunrise Rotary, for your generosity! And thank you to the entire staff of Hidden Valley Orthodontics for attending and supporting this special event.
