The Interfaith religious leaders of Escondido, known as Escondido Together, announce their upcoming prayer vigil for peace on Sunday, April 3, 4pm, at Maple Street Plaza (downtown, between Grand and Valley Pkwy in Escondido). The vigil will feature music and prayers from local leaders and faith communities. Medical supplies and donations will be received for Ukraine.
Said faith leader the Rev. Meg Decker, “We are privileged at this time to live in a country that is not at war. It is important that we recognize our responsibility to speak out for the victims of conflict in Ukraine and so many other places.”
