Escondido’s Police

On May 29, several members of the PD participated in the annual Torch Run for the Special Olympics, covering the 3-mile leg from Leucadia into Carlsbad. This is always a special event for an amazing cause and group of people. They were cheered on along the way by numerous members of the community who came out to show their support.
On June 3, the 137th Session of the San Diego Regional Police Academy graduated, culminating a rigorous 6 months of training. EPD graduated 6 new officers who will be starting field training this week.
