On Wednesday October 5th at about 2:45 in the afternoon, staff at Tri City Christian School received a call from someone claiming to have a bomb and threatening to blow up the school. The classes had just ended and the school was in the process of releasing the children at the time the call was received.
The school immediately activated their safety protocols and contacted the Sheriff’s Department. Deputies quickly arrived at the campus to assist school staff and investigate the threat. The children were moved away from the campus to a safe area where they could be picked up. After a thorough search, the campus was determined to be safe, and business resumed as normal. No devices were found on campus. There were no injuries reported and all children were accounted for and united with their families.
