On Friday October 30th, at approximately 1850 hours, the Sheriff’s Department Communications Center received a call of a vehicle vs a pedestrian in the 300 block of Vista Village Drive in the city of Vista. Deputies from the Vista Sheriff’s Station responded and located a male subject with serious injuries. The male subject sustained severe trauma and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other involved party remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. Alcohol and/or drug intoxication is not believed to be a factor in the collision. The Vista Patrol Station Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
