Free Summer Art Lesson on August 11th at the California Center for the Arts

Escondido, Ca. – August 6, 2018 — The Education Department at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido is hosting another free 2nd Saturday art lesson on Saturday, August 11th!

Join Center Teaching Artist, Brittany Balcom, for a lesson in watercolor technique as she guides participants through the process of painting their own floral still life.

After the art lesson, 2nd Saturdays participants can visit the museum’s new watercolor exhibitions, The American Watercolor Society’s 151st Traveling Exhibition and Local Color with pay-what-you-can admission.

The California Center for the Arts, Escondido offers two 1-hour classes, with the first one starting at 10am and the second at 11:15am in Studio Two.

The 2nd Saturdays art lessons are free, with materials provided. Just bring your creativity!

The art lessons are seated on first-come, first-served basis. Seating is extremely limited and classes do fill up! Please arrive early to guarantee your seat.
