Homelessness is a result of much deeper issues like addiction, trauma, and abuse. A shelter provides the homeless with the comfort of a roof, but does not address the root causes of their pain.
Families, like Andreena’s, search for the programs that provide family security, recovery support, and empowerment, to rise above their vulnerabilities and actually SOLVE their problem of being homeless, rather than contain it. Thanks to you, WE ARE the solution she has been looking for.
Not only does homelessness threaten Andreena and her family, it also threatens the health and safety of our San Diego Community. For the past 20 years we have deconstructed the root causes of homelessness and equipped families with the essential development and work skills they need to permanently transform their lives.
