Oceanside, Calif. (June 13, 2024) – Frontwave Arena, the new multi-purpose sports and entertainment venue in North County San Diego, is excited to announce dates for six San Diego Clippers home games. The LA Clippers’ G League affiliate will play its first game in San Diego on November 8, 2024, with the full season schedule announced in September.
“We can’t wait to kick off the San Diego Clippers season at Frontwave Arena on November 8th and officially welcome Clippers fans back to San Diego,” said Josh Elias, Co-Founder and CEO of Frontwave Arena. “After it opens this summer, our brand new arena will host 24 San Diego Clippers home games this season, and we’re thrilled to build a new home for Clippers basketball in Oceanside.”
This spring, the LA Clippers announced that their G League team would relocate to Oceanside, Calif. and rebrand as the San Diego Clippers, starting play at the brand new Frontwave Arena for the 2024-25 season. This marks a homecoming for the NBA team, which played in San Diego from 1978-1984. Fans can now mark their calendars for six game dates at the brand new Oceanside venue: November 8th, December 29th, January 9th, February 27th, March 1st, and March 14th.
Season tickets and courtside seats for San Diego Clippers games are on sale now, and fans can place group deposits to secure discounted ticket pricing and additional benefits. Single-game tickets will go on sale in August, and fans can sign up for presale notifications here.
Frontwave Arena, which opens September 17th, is ushering in a new era of entertainment for San Diego. Anchored by the spirit of competition and community engagement, Frontwave Arena will be a versatile venue that caters to a wide range of sports, entertainment, and community events. The arena will host 7,500 fans and feature craft food concessions, bars, premium seating, and an outdoor plaza.

About the San Diego Clippers
The San Diego Clippers are the LA Clippers’ NBA G League affiliate. Originally founded in the 2017-2018 season, the Clippers’ G League team played seven seasons in Ontario, Calif. before relocating to Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, Calif. for the 2024-25 season. The LA Clippers and their G League team maintain a close relationship between players and staff to maximize growth and resources, and 12 of the 18 players on the 2023-24 LA Clippers roster spent time in the G League during their career.
