Since the announcement that ‘Raising Canes Chicken Fingers’ was coming to Vista, the anticipation level has been high, from the leveling of Famous Daves’ Restaurant in the Vista Village, to the construction of the new ‘Raising Canes Chicken Fingers’ building. We have been told by the corporation that they will be a community partner.
The Founder of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Todd Graves, is most proud of their culture which is to become part of the community where each restaurant is located. Last Wednesday, before they opened their doors for business, they took 25 volunteers to the Vista’s Boys & Girls Club to do some much needed maintenance. Picnic tables were sanded down and painted, the garden was weeded, the outside lunch area was pressure washed, the girls’ bathroom was painted, the teaching kitchen was cleaned along with the carpets in the big meeting area and they deep cleaned the music room. Now that, is giving back!
On Sunday and Monday before their Grand Opening, by Invitation Only, their teams prepared and served the customers at No Charge, however, they asked for a donation. On Tuesday, at the Vista Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting, General Manager, Tony Jaremczuk presented a $3,000 check to the Boys & Girls Club of Vista. Vista is proud to have the first Raising Canes Chicken Fingers in North County and we look forward to a long relationship. We are off to a great start!
