Habitat Management Plan Meeting

The City of Carlsbad is hosting its 13th annual Habitat Management Plan public meeting on Feb. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Faraday Administration Center, located at 1635 Faraday Ave.

At a Glance
The purpose of the public meeting is to share the latest information about Carlsbad’s Habitat Management Plan preserve system.
Presentations by City staff and land managers will include highlights from the upcoming 2017 Habitat Management Plan Annual Report, followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
The 2017 Habitat Management Plan Annual Report will be released on the city’s website in March.

More Information

The Habitat Management Plan was developed by the city, in cooperation with federal and state wildlife agencies, to preserve and protect sensitive biological resources within the city while allowing for continued economic development. The annual report summarizes preserve status and activities that have occurred over the past year.
