SAN DIEGO, CA (March 27, 2025) — The Lincoln Club Business League of San Diego and presenting sponsor Laurie Edwards-Tate are proud to host Hearts in Bloom, a Go Red for Women event, on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at the stunning Coaster Terrace at Belmont Park. This inspiring evening will bring together community leaders, business professionals, and passionate advocates in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.
With heart disease continuing to be the number one killer of women in the United States — claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined — the Hearts in Bloom event aims to raise awareness and critical funds to combat this silent threat. The evening will feature inspiring speakers, heart-healthy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, and an opportunity for guests to learn how they can make a lasting difference.
“Supporting women’s heart health is a cause that is both personal and urgent,” said Laurie Edwards-Tate, event host, community leader, and CEO of At Your Home Familycare. “Together with the Lincoln Club Business League and our generous sponsors, we are committed to helping women live longer, healthier lives.”
The event is made possible by the support of notable sponsors, including At Your Home Familycare, Boardroom Business Services, JC Cooley Foundation, Heffernan Insurance Brokers, Southern Caregiver Resource Center, Mission Beach Women’s Club, Galvanized Strategies, and Headlines The Salon, whose contributions help advance the American Heart Association’s mission to save and improve lives.
“The Lincoln Club is honored to support this vital effort,” said Victor Lopez, Executive Director of the Lincoln Club Business League. “As someone who grew up in a binational community and now leads an organization dedicated to strengthening our region, I know how important it is to come together for causes that impact all of us.”
Lopez continued, “Heart health is something every family can relate to, and we are proud to stand with the American Heart Association and our event partners to make a difference.”
The Go Red for Women campaign has been at the forefront of raising awareness of heart disease in women for over two decades, funding innovative research, and providing education and resources to empower women to take charge of their heart health. Every dollar raised through Hearts in Bloom will support these lifesaving efforts.
