Help Needed to Stop SB1383

The Oceanside Chamber is continuing to work with a coalition of business organizations to defeat SB 1383. As a next step, we are collecting stories from business owners who will be negatively impacted by this legislation to share as a compilation with legislators. As a reminder, SB 1383 would require an employer with only 5 employees to provide an employee with a 12-week mandatory leave of absence to care for themselves or a family member, and threatens small employers with a lawsuit if they make any mistake in providing the leave.
