New Haven Youth and Family Services is one of ten local nonprofits participating in and competing for part of the $260,000 being gifted from this year’s Farmers Insurance Open PGA. We need your help!
For the first time New Haven has been selected by the Farmer’s Insurance charity organization, The Century Club, as one of 10 San Diego organizations to participate in their Champions for Youth program. The program supports foster youth, homeless youth and low income military families in the San Diego community. We need to 1) fundraise AND 2) friend raise (engaging as many people as possible) during the two month Campaign to be eligible for a bigger portion of the total $260,000 Farmers is gifting to the chosen organizations this year.
Campaign Timeline —>
Two months from Giving Tuesday, November 27, 2018 to January 27th, 2019.
Since 2012, Giving Tuesday – always the Tuesday after U.S. Thanksgiving – has been widely considered the kickoff to the year-end holidays and giving season.
Campaign Goals —>
Friendraiser = to connect with 400+ unique friend donors that each gift $10 or more to our campaign.
Fundraiser = to raise as much as possible, with a goal of $75,000 during the two month campaign.

We are transforming the lives of hundreds of at-risk youth throughout Southern California every year thanks to an innovative education and life/work skills development model. NH programs include: mental health and Therapeutic Behavioral Services, transitional living support, daily student curriculum and a 24 hours a day, seven days a week “live in” residential treatment program in 12 residences throughout North County San Diego.

The Century Club of San Diego, host organization of the PGA TOUR’s Farmers Insurance Open, is a major benefactor to local charities throughout the San Diego community. They organize and manage the finest quality PGA TOUR tournament; stimulate and promote philanthropy by all parties associated with the tournament; and promote San Diego on a national basis.
