Historic Downtown Vista has gone through many changes over the last ten to twelve years. Several shops, restaurants and brewery tasting rooms have been added. Four years ago a couple with a successful restaurant in Oceanside, Roddy and Aaron Browning, took over an abandoned building in the heart of Vista. With their initial vision they created a Farm to Table dining experience and the Flying Pig Pub and Kitchen was born. Now, four years later, the restaurants in the downtown seemed like everyone was offering similar items and they felt that their restaurant needed a change.
September of 2019, it was time to make that change a reality and Roddy and Aaron wanted to continue serving the patrons of Vista with a different idea in mind. The following video is an interview with Roddy and Aaron sharing their vision and why this location will now be called the Townhall Public House with new decor and menus in their family friendly atmosphere. All of us are looking forward to helping them complete their vision.
