VISTA, Calif. — Historic Downtown Vista came alive this past Saturday as SoCal K-pop Anime Fest returned for what organizers described as its biggest event yet.
Singer Justin Park headlined the festival, which also featured J-pop performers, K-pop dance teams, and solo artists. Japanese rock band Karanei joined the lineup, along with a K-pop Demon Hunters HUNTR/X tribute performance by Mikan.
Entertainment continued throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Between performances, visitors browsed booths featuring anime and manga art.
Fans traveled from across Southern California, including Orange County and Los Angeles. Cosplayers, anime fans, K-pop enthusiasts, and families gathered to enjoy the performances, meet fellow fans, and spend time in Historic Vista.
With music, art, and a lively crowd, this year’s festival gave fans a summer celebration centered on the community they share.
