It’s the most wonderful time of the year; the COASTER Holiday Express is finally here! This December will be one to remember as thousands of visitors will board the Holiday Express and immerse themselves in the magic of the season!

The Holiday Express will welcome more than 11,000 guests over two weekends in December, including Camp Pendleton Marines and their families who were provided complimentary tickets. During the train ride, guests will be surrounded by holiday cheer, visit with Santa Claus and enjoy performances by carolers and other holiday friends.

Holiday Express trains depart from the Oceanside Transit Center at 10:15 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on December 6, 7, 13, and 14. An extra night train will depart at 5 p.m. on December 6, 7 and 13.

NCTD Chief Executive Officer Shawn M. Donaghy, Board Chair Priya Bhat-Patel, San Diego Food Bank Chief Executive Officer Casey Castillo, and guests of honor, Santa Claus, Buddy the Elf and The Grinch will kick off this sold-out event on December 6 at 9 a.m.

Guests are highly encouraged to take part in the joy of giving this season by donating non-perishable food items to the North County Food Bank or by using the Virtual Donation page to donate online.
