On Friday, April 10, 2020, at 7:57 A.M., Oceanside Police responded to 523 Garfield Street regarding a fight in the front yard. When officers arrived, they found the victim identified as 45 year old Chad Danielson. Danielson had sustained multiple stab wounds. Lifesaving measures were provided by police and paramedics. Danielson was transported to Palomar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Neighbors who witnessed the fight described the suspect as a large Hispanic male with long dark hair.
