The following information is fragmentary and has not been completely verified. It is based, in part, on hearsay and is intended for early information use rather than being a formal investigative report.
On August 29, 2020, just after 12:00 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to 700 Convertible Lane in Fallbrook for multiple citizens hearing gunfire. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male who had been shot and was laying in front of a home. North County Fire Department responded and attempted live saving efforts. Unfortunately, the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
