25-year-old Brian Zarate has been identified and arrested in connection with the homicide that occurred in the City of Vista January 5th, 2023.
At this stage of the investigation, it appears Zarate knew the victim but the extent of their relationship is unknown. The motivation and circumstances are still under investigation.
Zarate was booked into the San Diego Central Jail for 187(a)PC – Murder.
